Well...
about time I finally get this blog rolling.
I have been slacking on the idea of doing one (mind elsewhere) and never really put much thought into it (once again, mind elsewhere). I stuck to Facebook’s group page set with the bulk of my novel updates and random art pieces I do when I have the time to, but deep in the back of this ole skull of mine (where the storm is) I kept telling myself that sooner or later this blog will get a decent heartbeat and then some.

And
so… it begins.
R.T.II
here! Indie author, published one book in 2010 titled SHADOW GENESIS VOLUME ONE: PRELUDES OF WAR. I started the story off at its infantile days back in
late 2006 (now that I can remember) during my little stage of depression after
leaving college and steady written its bulk during the entirety of 2007. Had a
few ‘ups and downs’ with life until finally breaking out of the rather dramatic
situations thus when 2009 hit I was near complete with the manuscript. 2010 rolls
around and I self-published it through XLibris Corp. It has been four years since I
published another
Now
I am rebooting the novel altogether… tough work, well worth it.
Shadow
Genesis is an origin story set in Shadow Realm (not what many of you may start
to think) during the Era of Malice that is consider the realm’s ‘peaceful era’
as many claim it to be. However, things are not so peaches and cream in this
lovely realm of eternal night (bioluminescent extreme!) as evil forces from the
old and new threaten to eliminate the realm’s sovereign Malice La'Shade Khan.
Sounds
like a meek story, and as cliché as it may sound… yes… the story sounds a bit unassuming
and ‘sparkling with plot simplicity’, but this so call ‘evil’ needs its ducks
in a row first.
Before
it… or they… can take down this black and beautifully serene woman of short
height and voluptuous purple hair (little description there), they must turn to
a greater force of power looming in the backdrop pulling all strings. This
other little woman, whose skin is white as alabaster and hair kissed by the
blood of the rose (like how I did that there?) is a force not to be trifle
with, and is the ‘queen bee’ of the scene of fiends. As simple as this all may
sound, it is truly an ‘iceberg’ in itself: Small up top, big beneath the watery
surface.
I
originally wanted the story to span four novels, but that was just a blunt
estimate. After the first book I did begin the second, but once again a few
difficulties hit me hard (life lesson learned in the process) and during the
craziness endured I realized… that my novel was lacking bad. I have many
enjoying it, and I am humble and grateful of my supporters and their help, but
deep down I knew what was expected of me. Revising Shadow Genesis became a task
that cannot be ignored.
At
this moment I have 50 chapters completed, five parts, over 290,000 words worth
of reboot and a great deal of new additions not seen in the current novel. Once
this new edition hits, the original will become limited. Realizing that 50
chapters is a bit too much (really is too much for now) I split the manuscript
in two, now having two stories instead of one, and a third that originally was ‘Volume
Two’ now ‘Volume Three’ (pending still as usual).
Plus,
I created a new title!
SHADOW GENESIS: INCEPTION
Still
has that ‘Preludes of War’ feel to it, but shorter.
Will
be keeping this blog periodically updated.

It's about time your ass got a blog up. I'm still surprised that I had one first, haha.
Been slacking. I had this blog since 2005 I think, somewhere around the time I came back home to N.C. Was easy for me to set up without having to register, so I removed all the mess I had on it and turned it into what you see now. Lucky me on that one. Now you're not alone. Haha!
