Good ole Friday!
Been a bit busy working on SG:I (as usual through the week),
and finally down to ten chapters left to 2nd draft before hitting up
the next phase. Looks like I’ll be pulling out a 3rd draft for this
one, which is no problem, and I am pretty positive in getting this story right
from beginning to end.
And that is just book one.
I have another full manuscript awaiting 2nd
drafting and will also be juggling that with several other projects. Of course
this second manuscript will be my primary project (while other is going through
a review) and like always I aim to improve the world of Shadow Genesis.
Well… more like ‘worlds’… yeah something like that.
Also, added a few helpful sites (on the right of this blog) to
get those creative juices flowing. Two big ones for me is Writer’s Digest and
Fantasy Faction, which are the most resourceful sites for me, and can be a
great use to you. Writer’s Digest is for novice and established writers, and contains
a good deal of helpful ‘How To’ articles and excellent advice for those of us
who get a bit stuck… or discouraged. It is also has a Writer’s Market guide. Fantasy
Faction is a large fantasy book community (the world’s leading) with news,
interviews, book assessments, and useful writing articles all fit in the realms
of fantasy/fiction. One can pull a great deal of knowledge from these two
sites. The rest of my list are various generators and other supportive websites
like the inspiring Positive Writer. If you’re looking for some motivation,
Positive Writer is another nice blog for creative writers of all kinds.
As for this one project about elves.
All I can say for now, that this project is in my 'To Create List', and for the most, it's looking like a cross of modern/dark fantasy... or... a bit advanced in the magic/machine department?
See how my mind gets sometimes? HA!
See Ya' Next Week!
