Shadow La'Shade Khan is a Dark Elementai (evolved elementals) from the Nightrealm known as Shadara, who is born into the royal Khan family bloodline (and has been blessed by the Divinia of Light). Within Shadara's Darkgear Citadel, the ruling seat of the entire Shadara realm located in Darkgear Prime, prophecies speak of a entity rising against malevolent forces threatening to break the natural balance of all worlds within the Outerverse. This rising force will lead a band of allies loyal to the cause, and face the great evils seeking to engulf the worlds and plunge them into the Damned, the Chaos Realm.

The Shadow Khan Project was created long ago. I say around 1999 or so is when I started the OC (original character) who became one of my leading projects, and miraculously became my first novel.
However, I did not write Shadow out to be a novel firstly. I decided to do an origin story explaining the events before his birth. Instead of just starting right out with him only to turn around and do 'Prequels'.
So the project now has a published novel, titled 'Shadow Genesis: Volume One: Preludes of War, and is actually being re-written (felt it lacking) as a reboot, since I published the novel back in May 2010.
I have no 'official' character looks for Shadow. That is bound to change in due time. My Deviant Art page however has a few things SK related, but until I announce an legit look, the concepts hinted in that gallery are just character concepts.
The name Shadow is actually a very old nickname of mine that to this very day is known by many people from friends to colleagues, including family.
