Little update.
Steady edits, dialogue re-work, more steady edits and more dialogue re-work with the additional dialogue re-work in hopes of re-working the dialogue into better dialogue.
Also, condensation. No... not the buildup of water, but 'Reduction'. You know, reducing word count and keeping things... simple, but not 'too simple'. When I write, things get complex, but understanding to lower the 'Exposition' in things is considerable... but... I tend to write a lot of that. It's my preference after all.
Exposition is pretty much, 'Info Dump' in a sense. When writing fantasy, you're creating a world unlike our own, and things can get pretty overwhelming. My world is unlike any other world in fiction (and there are many made worlds in fiction different from another too... aside from the cliche') so I feel it's a must to explain as much as I can, which can end up being great exposition.
There are tricks. Turning that info dump into a unique string of words that guides the reader instead of pulling a laundry list of descriptions.
On top of that, is dialogue. It has to be organic, clever, and yeah I've found my dialogue to be... not so... great, but in time that too shall pass, and it shall be 'great'.
I rather write in much detail so one can understand, then again, even I make a few 'muck ups'.
That is the beauty of writing drafts, they will suck, and the more you hammer down, the more the story evolves, as well as your writing skill.
I will not water down my style, however.
