"When you complete a draft, it is recommended you take a break for awhile, then come back fresh. Not only will your brain be ready to tackle mass edits, but new ideas are bound to blossom, and also make the better cut in the evolution of your story."
In another
week (not this week of course), I will be working on the third draft to Shadow
Genesis: Inception. This third draft will be a short run, a very meticulous
short run maybe, then another critique. Upon reading both the original Shadow
Genesis novel and SG: Inception second draft (with the additional notes and new
works), SG: I just might get some re-written scenes plus a few add-ons as well
as one or two removals… depending.
Meanwhile, I
have three new projects I must note and put aside:
- A Modern Fantasy project that is a bit similar to our world in realism (not our earth) but with a dash of fantasy in its own right. Inspired by Final Fantasy XV, since it pretty much surprised me given how I have done similar things in scrap projects that ended up not making it, or has merged with the big projects in some way. Project Urban Knight (Title Pending).
- A Post-Apocalyptic Dark Fantasy project called Project Devastation (Title Pending).
- A High Fantasy project called Project Ghetto Elf (Title Pending).
All three
projects just got added to my ‘Idea Spot’ in OneNote, making eighteen projects
total with three mains worked on and one out of the three (Shadow Khan Project)
with the most focus. Project Ghetto Elf is looking to find its way as Main
Project #4.
