"They started from the bottom… the rest of that statement however, is undetermined."
Project Ghetto Elf,
briefly explained yesterday, has earned the title Slumgarde, which is also the
name of the ‘ghetto’ characters are introduced in. So far, I have five
protagonists done, and the antagonists are still in progress. There are three
(at the moment) plot elements interwoven together, with four of the main
protagonists working to a goal, but are hindered by other situations that get
in their way. I am using the Snowflake Method for this one, therefore aiming to
make something as complex as the other three projects.
I will be busying
myself with Slumgarde when not working on Shadow Genesis, Multiverse, and
Slicka. I tend to bounce around with the Multiverse project and Slicka graphic
novel, with Shadow Genesis my most focused. Slumgarde will be cooking in the
oven, with me adding on in notes whenever I get a brain spark.
Slumgarde will be an
action adventure comedy, similar to The Multiverse, but not as… how can I put
it… ‘Bizarre’ when compared to Multiverse in its extended installments. It will
have adult themes, crude humor, some suspense and every other ingredient that
makes a high fantasy story great… twists included?
From the title, one
can guess slums are involved, and from the project previously titled as Ghetto Elf, it is safe to say an elf is part of this as well... as a main protagonist. Slums are pretty much ghettos, or shanty towns as
some may call it, and I am checking out several known shanties across the globe
for reference and inspiration, while developing the opposite of Slumgarde, its
wealthy urban metropolis with Slumgarde posing as “the great city’s pestering boil”.
And that there, is
straight from the mouths of the high city dwellers in this fine story to come.
Now I leave you all
with a title card that will definitely evolve over time.
